Jukka,
So far, you've got some good ideas to choose from.  May I suggest: a)
Explaining, through dialogue, the evolution of the situation, its orgins
being in current events; b) Buildings and /or vehicles with futuristic
design, postings or advertisements (like for a futuristic product).  This
can be done without being too blatant.
