VARIETY of September 20, 1993, now on the newsstands, has a review of
EVEN COWGIRLS GET THE BLUES (pp.26-27).

The reviewer, Deborah Young, is less than impressed calling it "a far-out
meandering fantasy." "All its narrative risk-taking and stylistic fireworks
frequently confuse rather than enlighten."

The film was reviewed at the Venice Film Festival, Sept. 2, 1993, and is
credited as "A Fine Line Features release of a New Line Intl. Releasing
Co. production."
