Community Media Trainees
 
Community Media Trainees will receive six month's training in how to use
radio and television to support people who are building communities.
 
Responsibilities:
     Successful applicants will learn about
     - community groups and agencies in Mushkegowuk territory
     - how these groups are working to improve their communities
     - how to use radio and television to help this work
     - using media to strengthen language and culture
     - radio and television techniques and skills
 
Qualifications:
     - preference will be given to Mushkegowuk members
     - knowledge of Cree and English
     - Grade 10 minimum education
     - community experience an asset
 
 
Applicants must be unemployed, or at risk of long term unemployment.
