I am opposed to having the results of film searches or article searches
sent directly to the person who has requested information.  If replies
are posted to the list, they will be saved in the archive and searchable
at a later date.
 
Most peole don't even sign their names, let alone give their email address,
so it would be difficult to respond directly, anyway.  Our system doesn't
have a magic trick that allows me to see who sent the message originally.
If you don't sign your message and give your address, I couldn't contact
you except through the listserv.
