One of the beter examples I can think of is a John Ford western
with John Wayne and the usual Ford ensemble of actors (Ward Bond) in
which Wayne plays the "Hondo" character that was leter serialized inot
the re-runs I now see on TNT Saturday monrnings! I can't remember the name
of the flick ('only your video dealer will know for sure') but it ends
with WAyne/Bond triumphantly noting the demise of they Apache way of life..

talk about unsympathetic!

Robert Johnson
