I seem to remember a documentary on TV about a year or so ago about
who killed General Patton which discussed the Reichsbank gold train
robbery. It speculated that Patton was killed to prevent him interfering
in the robbery. The program pointed out that since several tons of gold
were stolen some fairly high ranking people had to be involved,
especially since the only people with enough trucks and fuel were the US
Army. It was broadcast on one of the American major networks.
