Ramona Curry asked about films with women filmmakers, and her note about
Patricia Rozema's I've Heard the Mermaids Singing brought to mind her earlier
short film, Passion: A Letter in 16 mm, with Linda Griffiths as a filmmaker
with distinctly raw nerve endings.
