Henry,

One of my favorite movies about movies is Preston Sturges' SULLIVAN'S
TRAVELS (1941, I think), in which the title character, a famous director of
film comedies, decides to direct a social problem film and goes undercover as
a tramp to see how the other half really lives.

There was a really awful Esther Williams/Ricardo Montalban musical on TNT a
few months ago in which the plot revolved around the filming of a musical set
in the South Pacific (I can't remember the title).

If I think of more, I'll tell you.
