I teach an introductory television production class. I'd like to make some
changes to it--the class feels too tech-oriented, but my sense is that
students want this stuff. Any suggestions on how to get production students
thinking critically about the content of their shows?

Any similarity between my ideas and the University of Texas megacorp
would be an undesirable coincidence.
