The issue of off-air taping is very cloudy as has been noted earlier.
Some helpful information -- Cable television services produce a magazine
called Cable in the Classroom, which outlines rights and length of
retention for off-air taped materials. I know that ABC programming has
been carried in small part by a company called Guidance Associates.
Turner Multimedia has some programming from CNN/TBS/TNT. Don't know if
any of that will help, hopefully it will.
