on the SCREEN-L FILELIST.  Come and get it!

 

PREVIEWS.... is an electronic magazine of movie news put together by

Bill Oppel, down Commerce, Texas way.

 

The SCREEN-L FILELIST is a free archive of movie/TV-related text files--

including databases of US film releases for 1990 and 1991 (in comma-

delimited format) and the back issues of PREVIEWS....

 

These text files may be retrieved through regular e-mail channels.  You

do not have to use File Transfer Protocol or any other scary protocol

things.  To get a file just send the following command to either

LISTSERV@UA1VM or [log in to unmask]  Please note, this command is

>not< sent to SCREEN-L, but to the LISTSERV that runs SCREEN-L:

 

GET filename filetype

 

Thus, if you want to get the new issue of previews, send the following:

 

GET PREV9209 ASC

 

It ought to come whipping your way in ASCII, text format.
