I almost included this question in my previous post, but I think it
deserves its own "subject" heading.

Does anyone out there still teach super-8 production?

And if so, how do you deal with the demise of reasonably priced super-8
equipment and the difficulty in obtaining film stock?

I hear occasional rumors that Kodak is discontinuing production of
super-8 stock, which, I should emphasize, Kodak vehemently denies. But
still, I've got to wonder how much longer will the stock be around.

And, as far as equipment goes, I know that Southern Illinois and Oregon
have been requiring students to provide their own super-8 cameras. Are
other schools doing this? Does that work?

In short, how are folks dealing with this technological shift?
