1. Appointment of a Chief General Editor: Studies in French Cinema
I will be stepping down as Chief General Editor of Studies in French Cinema at the twentieth anniversary conference of the journal in the summer of 2020. In a change from the previous announcement, Routledge has agreed that the post could be shared by a senior colleague and a more junior colleague. Colleagues who wish to apply for the post, which is tenable for five years, should contact me for a candidate pack ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>). It is expected that the successful candidates will be Anglophone with a near-native command of French, and experienced researchers in French/Francophone cinema studies. Closing date for applications is 31 December 2017. For more journal information, please visit www.tandfonline.com/rsfc.

2. New General Editor: Studies in French Cinema

Kelley Conway has stepped down as one of the journal’s General Editors. On behalf of our community of scholars, I would like to thank Kelley for over two years of sterling work for the journal. Mary Harrod (University of Warwick) has joined the General Editor team.
