Please note that the early bird deadline for Centre for Media and Celebrity
Studies (CMCS) conference and accommodation in New York City is *Friday,
June 30, 2017*. After this date, regular rates will apply.

The conference includes a 4-hour op-ed writing workshop and webinar for
guests and delegates.  Our special thanks go to *Celebrity Studies*
(Routledge) for providing conference material. We also thank WaterHill
Publishing for offering the newly released book Becoming Brands: Celebrity,

(2017) to the first runner-up prize winner. This is in addition to the $100
