The Carsey-Wolf Center's Media Industries Project is hosting at the
University of California, Santa Barbara a conference, *Dirty Sexy Policy*,
featuring conversations about media policy in the digital age. This *free* and
open-to-the-public event will bring together scholars, journalists,
attorneys, regulators, and activists to discuss the regulation of
obscenity, indecency, and broadband infrastructure. The full schedule for

*Dirty Sexy Policy* has been organized around a moderated
question-and-answer format, and it will feature two incredible keynote
speakers at the Pollock Theater on the University of California, Santa
Barbara campus: former FCC Commissioner Nicholas Johnson on *Thursday, 2/20
at 5 p.m.*, and Des Freedman of Goldsmiths in London on *Friday, 2/21 at
