March 20-23, 2013
Venice, Italy

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

30 short films made by film students from all over the world
The deadline for the 2013 CF Short Film Festival has been extended until February 10th, 2013.

Venice is not only the venue for the International Film Festival, wi th i ts authors and celebrities. From now on the city will also be the launching pad for the cinema of the future. The third edition of the international Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival will be held from March 20th to March 23rd 2013, the first in Europe entirely conceived, organized and managed by a university.

Hosted by Ca’ Foscari University itself, the wonderful Auditorium Santa Margherita is the ideal location to host a sort of Film School World Championship, a radiography for the cinema to come, a direct link with the 2.0 generation.

About 100 students from all the University Departments yearly attend the Festival, being actively involved in setting up and concluding all ‘in-progress’ steps: shot and video editing, catalogue editing, subtitles, press office, logistics, film selection. An extraordinary experience that has enabled the training of skills, as well as creating an atmosphere of absolute innovation.
