SCHOOL OF FILM AND TELEVISION STUDIES
in collaboration with and the Cinema and Television History (C.A.T.H.) Research Centre, DeMontfort University, and the UK Film Council.

Research Studentship in the Dissemination and Cultural Impact of the UK Screen Heritage

UEA is one of the strongest universities in the UK in Film and Television Studies, with a Research Assessment rating of 3.4 in 2008 (5** in 2001) and thriving BA, MA and PhD programmes.

The studentship is for a full-time PhD starting on 1 September 2010 and will cover tuition fees for three years and maintenance allowance equivalent to an AHRC block grant studentship within the School. A master’s degree in a relevant subject may prove an advantage but, in cases where the candidate has other experience relevant to the project, it is not essential. The applicant must provide a proposal for a research project.

Deadline: 12 July, 2010.

Prospective candidates should contact Mark Jancovich at [log in to unmask]
