The Film programme within the School of Arts at Roehampton University, London, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time (1.0 FTE) without-term lectureship to complement the well-established Film team effective 1st January 2010. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach video production across all years of the undergraduate Film programme. Industry experience and/or a track record of work as a filmmaker, and a completed or nearly-completed PhD in film (practice-led or conventional) are essential. The following will also be an advantage: expertise in drama, editing, and/or cinematography, and an ability to contribute to the historical/theoretical side of the programme. The ability to teach screenwriting may also be an advantage.
