Hopefully, poems count.

I believe that The Beggar Maid with Mary Astor was based on a poem that was
based on the painting, and was co-produced by and shot at least partly at
the estate of Louis C. Tiffany.
Theda Bara's A Fool There Was is based on Kipling's poem and the famous
painting done shortly after that.

And there must be a hundred comedies where characters pop out of paintings
and become part of the story, but can't think of a single one!
