my thanks to all those who have pointed out the german DVD . . . . my
library has already placed an order for it

BTW, should anyone else on-list care about this, 2 sequences from the
silent version have been posted on you tube, including  one sequence
from the film in parallel silent and sound versions . . . just type
"SILENT BLACKMAIL"  into the search box . . . the parallel versions were
posted by "sexena199"

The dvd disc available from German amazon features both the silent &
sound versions, though this is not signalled in the product description
(enlarge the cover image to confirm...)
