Lecturer in Film &/or Television Studies

Applications are invited for the above post based in the 5* research-rated (RAE 2001) School of American and Canadian Studies, incorporating the Institute of Film and Television Studies.  The successful candidate will be a specialist in film and/or television studies.  They will be responsible for teaching and contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate modules, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, examining and invigilating at examinations, undertaking original research, and contributing generally to the work of the School.

Candidates must have successfully completed, or be close to completing, a PhD by the date of appointment.

Salary will be within the range £28,849 - £38,772 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience (salary can progress to £44,947 per annum, subject to performance).
