The DVD features:

* Illustrative video clips--exemplifying camera movement, editing, sound
design, and more.
* Interactive editing and sound exercises
* Do-it-yourself editing and sound material--allowing students to
experiment on their own (using the inexpensive Quicktime Pro or their own
non-linear editors)
* All of the diagrams from the book
* A small showcase of student-made videos
* Commercials from the 1950s and 1960s
* An Instructor's Manual.

To preview the DVD, point your Web browser to:

http://www.tcf.ua.edu/TVCrit/Videos.htm

You'll find:

* The Instructor's Manual (requires Adobe Acrobat).
