Hi...
You might have "The Misfits" confused with "Something's Got to Give"....Clark Gable died not long after shooting "The Misfits"...

But "Something's Got to Give" was never finished because of Marilyn Monroe's death. There was not much shot when there was a contract dispute with her. When she died, they saved what little footage they had of her, including costume lighting tests.

It starred Wally Cox and Dean Martin as I recall....the studio tried to salvage the footage by making a documentary after her death (narrated by Rock Hudson), and using the scenes that had been shot, including the famous nude swimming pool scene.

You can still the documentary on TCM or AMC occasionally....

I'm pretty sure Marilyn Monroe died before the Misfits was completed and they used a double in some scenes in the final stages of production.
