Godard's "One Plus One" allows the viewer to actually see/hear the Rolling Stones 'Sympathy for the Devil' as it develops.. (His use of music and/or of musical sequences in "A Woman is a Woman", "Band of Outsiders", and "Weekend" is also worth a look..) Scorsese's "New York New York" and "The Last Waltz" are also very interesting.
