To the best of my knowledge, only Volume I of Pasolini's letters (1940-1954)
has been published in English (Quartet Books, 1992). But I understand that
Volume II is available in Italy. If anyone has access to this, I'm keen to
know if Pasolini refers to Lukacs in his letters from 1956 - particularly in
the light of the Hungarian October and Pasolini's published criticism, at
the time, of Lukacs's seeming reversal of his liberal line on cultural
orthodoxy.

With thanks -

Ben
