I'm wondering whether anyone can provide information on the
jazz that is played (and the musicians who play it) in the night-club
scenes in Melville's "Le Samouraï"? Was this music
composed/improvised for the film? If so, does anyone know who
actually performed it?

Many thanks in advance,
Gregory Sims, University of Melbourne
