Dear Film Lover/Filmmaker/Distributor, The following is submission
guidelines for the Fifth Annual MadCat Women's International Film
Festival. Our Early Deadline is coming up on April 30th, 2001. Please
post this on your site, send us your entries, and pass this along!

MadCat showcases avant-garde experimental and independent films and
videos directed by women of all lengths and genres. MadCat is currently
touring across the country with a portion of last year's festival and our
Fifth Annual festival will take place in September in the Bay Area of
Northern California at El Rio Outdoor Cinema and the Pacific Film
Archive.

Fifth Annual MadCat Women's International Film Festival
Call For Submissions
GUIDELINES

MadCat is seeking films and videos that challenge the use of sound and
image and explore notions of visual story-telling. We accept work of all
genres and lengths directed by women. Films can be produced any year
and about any topic.

Early Deadline April 30th, 2001
Late Deadline July 5th, 2001
Previews on VHS only
Exhibition Formats: 35mm, 16mm, Super 8, Beta SP, 3/4", SVHS, VHS
Entry Fee: $10 - $30 sliding scale. Pay what you can afford.
International Entrants Disregard the Entry Fee.

I hereby allow Wisegirl Productions and the MadCat Film Festival to
preview my work and screen it if selected. I understand that MadCat,
although they will take every precaution, cannot be held responsible for
the loss or damage of entry and preview materials.
