phantasy is an artifact produced by British translations of Freud. posto
facto folks tried to reify a distinction to mean that phantasy was a
psychoanalytic sense of the word, fantasy a common sense. No real
difference, and it parallels the insertion of ego for ich in creating
confusion in US.
