The King Kong televison series was created by Eankin Bass and uses many of the
same characters of _Kingukongu no Gyakushu_/_King Kong Escapes_ (Ishiro Honda,
1968), which was a Rankin-Bass/Toho co-production. Rankin-Bass made many
live-action films in Japan, mostly with Tsuburaya productions, including _The
Last Dinosaur_, _The Ivory Ape_, _The Bermuda Depths_, _The Bushido Blade_, and
_The Secret of Dorian Gray_. Neither _The King Kong Show_ nor _The Secret of
Dorian Gray_ are listed on the IMDb as of now.
