Daniel makes an important point from several angles and is doubtless aware of
the Political Film Society, which was founded in 1986 to honor filmmakers who
make important political statements.
For the privilege of nominating and voting for the best political films each
year, the Political Film Society charges a nominal initiation fee of US$5.
Among the other benefits are receipt of regular newsbulletins about recently
released films, information about the latest publications and conferences on
political aspects of film, and a forum for discussion.
The initiation fee is for life membership for those who maintain a working
email address.
The address to send a check is Political Film Society , PO Box 461267, Los
Angeles, CA 90046.
The website for the Political Film Society is http://PFS.cjb.net
