The answer to that is most of them. After all Cannae is probably the most famous battle in history but I'm not aware of any film about it. In fact nearly anything before the Napoleonic era is missing (Gustavus Adolphus anywhere?) or so heavily non-historical as to be pure fiction. The English Civil War is fascinating but I only know of three films about it, undoubtedly a result of a subject both tough-to-export and quite complex. And that's where the money problems arise. Even in such a familiar area like WW2 where are the films on the Tarawa invasion (much bloodier than D-Day) or the Winter War (other than the Finnish one of that title) not to mention the numerous battles covered half-heartedly.
