Red Diaper Productions Launches  New Tour Package
GLOBAL DIALOGUES: RECENT FILMS FROM HOLLAND

GLOBAL DIALOGUES is available in March 2000 on video to universities,
libraries and cultural institutions. This new initiative is intended to
increase the availability of such films particularly for a university
audience. GLOBAL DIALOGUES is designed to build audiences for international
film.

Titles include some of the most interesting debut films of the 90's
including FELICE…FELICE by Peter Delpeut, LITTLE SISTER by Robert Jan
Westdijk, ANOTHER MOTHER by Paula van der Oest as well as several
impressive documentaries including FATAL REACTION: BOMBAY & FATAL REACTION:
SINGAPORE by Marijke Yongbloed and LUCEBERT, TIME & FAREWELL and LAST WORDS
-- MY SISTER YOKA by the internationally renowned Johann van der Keuken.
Targeted subject areas include Film Studies, Women's Studies, Asian
Studies and Modern European History among others.

The films will be available with English subtitles as a rental package of 3
or 6 titles at affordable rates for the non-theatrical market. Rental fees
are designed to be very reasonable in the interests of showcasing the films
widely.

NORTHERN LIGHTS: New Films From Iceland Tour Package
Available March through December 2000

NORTHERN LIGHTS: New Films From Iceland premiered at New York's Quad Cinema
December 3 to 9, 1999 with 6 new films and 4 classics from the burgeoning
Icelandic film industry. Audience response, box office and press were
excellent and five of the films from the Showcase are now available for
rental as a Tour Package starting March 2000. The New York theatrical run
was a special kick-off to the Millennium Commission's yearlong celebration
of Icelandic music, theater, literature, and film in cities across the U.S.
and Canada.

The Film Tour will be available from March-December 2000, and can be booked
to coordinate with other Icelandic events in each city. Rental fees are
designed to be very reasonable in the interests of showcasing the films
widely. Further the Icelandic Consulates throughout the US are eager to
support the Tour events, and to work with local film exhibitors. including
cross-promotion.

Highlights of the Film Tour are two rarely screened films (in excellent
35mm prints) by Fridrik Thor Fridriksson, Iceland's best known filmmaker.
CHILDREN OF NATURE (1992), nominated for an Oscar, became Fridriksson's big
international breakthrough and MOVIE DAYS (1994), is a nostalgic
celebration of the Iceland of the director's youth and his fascination with
the cinema.

New titles include NO TRACE (Hilmar Oddsson), a stylish thriller in which a
dead body refuses to remain underground; TEARS OF STONE (Hilmar Oddsson),
a powerful Holocaust story based on the experiences of famed Icelandic
composer Jon Leifs and his Jewish wife in 1930s Germany and HONOUR OF THE
HOUSE , a lavish & compelling saga based on a story by Nobel Laureate
Halldor Laxness and directed by his daughter. HONOUR is this years
Icelandic submission to the Oscars.
