I'm not too sure what you mean by "space" but many a movie by Ousmane
Sembane might be okay.  _Heartland_ about pioneer women on the American
frontier also might work.  The guy who directed Gas,Food & Lodging is
supposedly working on a movie about an all female gang in Los Angeles.
I'm also trying to think of a possible Hitchcock movie that has to do
with "space" (whatever that means).  What sort of "space" are you talk-
ing about--physical, location space; conceptual space; etc?
