Again, as many have noted, the Internet Movie Data Base (imdb.com) is a
good place to start to locate information about any film, director,
star, etc. Just type in Terry Gilliam (no "u"), and it should give you
a brief bio, and a listing of all his films. Or, try typing in the name
in a search engine like Google.com.
For a non-internet source, you might try Katz's "The Film Encyclopedia"
(I believe the 3rd edition is the latest).
